Early 2013 - A few dozen kaiju exist across the planet, forming their own factions. For their role in stopping the aliens, the kaiju following Godzilla are dubbed 'Terra's Defenders'. More malign kaiju come under a loose alliance under a returned Xenilla, dubbed 'Mutations' due to the origin of a majority of their ranks. The alien kaiju are assigned under their own faction.
